This southwestern HBCU college tour includes several of the top rated historically black colleges and universities reported by US News and World Report. These schools are known to provide a rich experience due to their strong sense of community, smaller class sizes, supportive instructors, and commitment to educating African-American students. This college tour highlights and visits Houston, TX, and continues on through New Orleans, LA allowing students to experience schools providing emphasis on liberal arts, technology, business, journalism and extracurricular and supportive features such as athletics, marching bands, career planning services, strong student organizations and student-run governments.
